I am a teacher turned web designer, with a passion
for traveling, sustainability, food and plants.

I’ve always been passionate about all things creative.
I used to work as a teacher but have long been fascinated by everything related to digital design. I started out by teaching myself the basics of graphic and web design, but when the global pandemic hit and I was confined to my small apartment for months, I decided it was time to learn more than just the basics.
After doing several short online courses, I completed a year-long career change program and became a certified User Interface Designer. I am truly loving my career switch and the flexibility that has come with the change. I’m now able to do what I’m absolutely passionate about, with the freedom to travel and work from anywhere in the world.

I’m originally from Germany, but have lived and worked in several different countries on three continents - even before becoming a
Web Designer. Besides my native tongue of German, I speak English and Spanish fluently, which allows me to serve clients worldwide.

The letters M-A-C-A are the initials of my first and middle name Miriam Anna-CÄcilia.
