Here’s everything you need to know about the options Showit gives you for your blog. Whether that’s setting up a new blog or migrating an existing one, whether you already have a Showit website or you’re planning to build one/have one built.
1. Showit subscription and pricing
If you want your Showit website to include a blog you need a Showit subscription (payment plan) that includes a blog. You have 2 options here:
If you want to start a new blog, choose the BASIC STARTER BLOG subscription. If you want to migrate an existing blog, choose the ADVANCES BLOG subscription. You can find more information on the pricing here.
2. Blog options
Showit gives you 3 blog options:
- To set up a NEW WEBSITE with a NEW BLOG
- To set up a NEW WEBSITE and MIGRATE AN EXISTING BLOG
- If you already have an EXISTING WEBSITE you can add a NEW BLOG or MIGRATE AN EXISTING BLOG

3. What blogging platforms can Showit migrate posts from?
According to Showit’s help desk, they currently migrate blogs from:
- Squarespace
- WordPress.com
- WordPress (self-hosted) – also known as WordPress.org
